Instructor: Alisha Fritz - Good Start Puppy 1 - Getting your puppy started on the right track is very important. This class is for puppies 8-16 weeks old at the time of the start date of class. Puppies MUST have had, at least, their first two sets of puppy shots. Puppy Class 1 combines training, socialization, and most importantly fun! We will concentrate on socialization with people and other dogs while introducing important manners and skills. We will also spend time on exercises to help your puppy become very comfortable with body handling (your Vet will thank you) and to minimize any inclination your puppy might have to guard resources (toys/food) from you. Lots of playtime with other puppies is included and your dog may make life-long friends! The first class is for HUMANS ONLY.
Classes scheduled every week on Thursday starting 1/25/2018 and ending 3/8/2018 at 6:30PM
Instructor: Alisha Fritz - Good Start Puppy 2 - Getting your puppy started on the right track is very important. Designed for older puppies, 16-24 weeks old at the start of class, this class combines training, socialization, and most importantly fun! We will build on the puppy's socialization with people and other dogs while introducing important manners and skills. We will also spend time on exercises to help your puppy become very comfortable with body handling (your Vet will thank you) and to minimize any inclination your puppy may have to guard resources (toys/food) from you. Playtime is designed to be age appropriate and your dog may make life-long friends! This is a great class if you have not yet taken a socialization based puppy class OR would like to do even more socialization and continue to grow your young dog's skills after completing Good Start Puppy 1. The first class is for HUMANS ONLY. Please Note: There will be no class on December 28th. An extra class has been added to the schedule.
