Workshop: Reading Canine Body Language. Instructor:Alisha Fritz. When you want to make a good impression while greeting another person, do you make direct eye contact, smile, and reach out to shake hands?  Did you know that in dog language staring, showing teeth, and hovering are all threats?  Join us for a presentation on understanding how your dog communicates via body language.  Dogs do not use verbal communication in the same way as humans, but we can learn to listen and understand them.  We will cover how to tell when your dog is excited, friendly, confident, or frightened.  Time will be left at the end of the session to answer questions about individual dogs. Please leave your dog at home for this workshop. This workshop is for HUMANS ONLY.  Workshop is held in Smoky's Training Center, located in the far end of the building and accessed from the 3rd parking lot down from the corner in the same building that houses the new Susan M. Markel Veterinary Hospital.
