Tricks to Title - Novice
Instructor: Alisha Fritz

Tuesday, January 23, 2018 7:45 PM - 8:45 PM

Instructor: Alisha Fritz - Tricks are tons of fun and a great way to bond with your dog! This 7 week class will concentrate on the tricks specifically required to earn the Novice Trick Dog title through the AKC.  This includes: speak, crawl, high five, jump through a hoop, kiss, shake, spin and more! Handlers wishing to earn the title must register their dog with the AKC.  This class can also be taken by anyone interested in learning cute tricks regardless of whether or not you are interested in the title. More information can be found here: http://www.akc.org/about-trick-dog/   The test is not included as part of the class, but for a separate fee can be scheduled independently with the instructor once the student feels ready. Dogs should be under control around strange humans and other dogs and should be familiar with basic skills such as sit, down, stay, come, and leave it. Enrolled dogs must be up-to-date on vaccinations and at least 4 months old. Spaying or neutering strongly recommended. All classes will include dogs. Classes will be held at the Richmond SPCA's Smoky's Training Center - entrance located from the 3rd parking lot.
