Advanced Canine Manners is a 7 week intermediate level manners course that advances the skills that your dog has already learned.  We will build upon behaviors such as stay and come, while covering new exercises, such as distance work and increasing distractions.  We will discuss different types of reinforcement for good behavior and students will learn how to build the basic skills their dogs already have into behaviors even more useful in the real world.  We will discuss the science of modern dog training, and have lots of fun. Prerequisite: Canine Manners or another basic manners class where dog has been introduced to sit, down, come, stay and leave it. Enrolled dogs must be up-to-date on vaccinations and at least 6 months old. Spaying or neutering is strongly recommended. The first class is for HUMANS ONLY and will be held in Smoky's Training Center - accessed from 3rd parking lot.
