Tricks for All Types
Instructor: Alisha Fritz

Thursday, January 31, 2019 7:45 PM - 8:45 PM

Instructor: Alisha Fritz - Tricks are tons of fun and a great way to bond with your dog! In this 7 week Beginner through Advanced class we'll discuss concepts such as catching and shaping while covering fun activities like roll over, riding a skate board, wave, and more! Dogs and trainers of all levels are encouraged to attend. In this class you work at your pace and comfort level.  All are welcome whether you've taken tricks before or this is your first try.  The curriculum for this class is guided by the students and what tricks you would like to learn. Besides being an enjoyable activity, learning tricks can be a confidence builder for your dog and help them increase focus and body awareness. It also helps teach your dog to think and that it's great to try new things! Prerequisite: Canine Manners or another basic manners class is not required, but strongly recommended. Dogs should be familiar with skills such as sit, down, stay, and leave it. Dogs also need to be under control when in the presence of other dogs and people. Enrolled dogs must be up-to-date on vaccinations and at least 6 months old. Spaying or neutering strongly recommended. All classes will include dogs. Classes are held in Smoky’s Training Center which is accessed from our 3rd parking lot.
