Workshop: Problem Barking
Instructor: Alisha Fritz

Saturday, December 15, 2018 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM

Barking is one form of verbal communication in dogs, along with whining and howling. Barking serves a variety of functions and it is normal for a dog to bark from time to time. It’s no fairer to expect a dog to never bark than it is to expect a person to never speak! However, when dogs bark incessantly this can be problematic for both the pet guardian and surrounding neighbors. This workshop will cover how to manage different types of barking in your home- such as demand barking, excitement barking, and alarm barking. We will not cover reactive barking while out on walks. There will be time at the end of the session for questions about your individual dog and his or her behaviors. This workshop is for people only, please leave pets at home.
