Critter Camp at the Richmond SPCA

Critter Camp is a fun way for kids to learn about animals and have lots of fun at the same time! Activities include games, skits, tours, and crafts and focus on basic animal care and safety, pet training, the bond shared between people and companion animals, the importance of veterinary care and ways to address the problem of pet homelessness in our community. The Critter Camp curriculum is designed for children ages 6 to 10.

Critter Camp lasts for 5 days, Monday through Friday, and is broken into morning (9 a.m. to Noon) and afternoon (1 to 4 p.m.) sessions. Camp is $150 per child, per session. There is space for 20 children in each session. All activities take place at the Richmond SPCA's state-of-the-art Robins-Starr Humane Center and are scheduled during the months of June, July and August.
