Please join the Richmond SPCA for the Eighth Annual Dog Jog and 5K Run! Proceeds from this event support our lifesaving programs and services. Events run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and take place at the Richmond SPCA’s Robins-Starr Humane Center, located at 2519 Hermitage Road in Richmond, Virginia. The day’s festivities kick off with a competitive 5K run at 9:30 a.m., and a pet-friendly 1-mile Dog Jog follows at 11 a.m. A fun pet-friendly vendor fair featuring lots of cool vendors, kids activities and dog demonstrations is also featured. The fair is free of charge and open to everyone. In 2009, approximately 3,000 devoted animal lovers attended, and the event raised more than $108,000. We hope to see you there!
