Registration opens on December 21 at 9 a.m. Please note: this class will not meet on February 4. An additional class will be added at the end of the session.

Getting your puppy started on the right training track is a very important step on the road to becoming a great dog! Good Start Puppy Class combines training, socialization, and most importantly FUN!

Come join us for a 7-week course that will get you started on some basic commands such as SIT, DOWN, LEAVE IT, and STAY. We will also set up different scenarios that you and your pup will likely encounter in everyday life and help you learn how safely manage your dog. This includes positive exposure to the veterinary procedures, wheels and sounds, unusual surfaces, and kids in costumes. And don't think we forgot about playgroups! Your puppy will have plenty of time to socialize with other dogs. Who knows, you could meet new friends that your puppy can play with outside of class.

Puppies must have had their first two sets of puppy shots and be 6 months of age or younger as of the first day of class in order to participate. This class meets in our annex at 1611 Rhoadmiller (formerly Lakeside Appliance) next door to our main building. Please note: Puppies do not attend the first night of class.
