About Our Store

Named in honor of a wonderful person and benefactor, Lora Robins, our shop has many wonderful gifts for pets and pet lovers. Our prices are excellent, our staff knowledgeable, and our selection of high-quality merchandise can’t be beat! The best part about shopping at the Richmond SPCA? Your purchases directly benefit orphaned pets in our shelter.

Hours of Operation
Please visit the shop at our Robins-Starr Humane Center during regular operating hours, Tuesday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday Noon to 5 p.m., and Monday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. We will also place special orders for our valued customers, and are always looking for great new product ideas. Pets are welcome in our store. Please note that we recommend puppies be at least 6 months of age and up-to-date on their shots before visiting the SPCA.

Accepted Forms of Payment
Cash, credit/debit cards, money orders, and Richmond SPCA gift cards are accepted forms of payment. No checks please. This policy applies to payments made for retail purchases, adoptions and clinic services.

Purchase a Gift Card
Looking for a gift for that special someone? Why not consider a Richmond SPCA gift card? Cards may be redeemed in our retail store, for pet adoptions or for training classes. You may purchase Richmond SPCA gift cards in our Lora Robins Gift Shop during normal operating hours.

Toys For Mutts
Help a homeless animal in need by purchasing a dog or cat toy in the Lora Robins Gift Shop. All of the proceeds go directly to the Richmond SPCA, and the toy goes to a dog or cat in need while they await a new, loving home. Pick any toy for a cat or dog and bring it to the front register to purchase and we'll deliver it to a special pet staying at the Robins-Starr Humane Center. You may also pick which pet you'd like us to give your donation to, as long as the toy is appropriate for their health, behavior and habitat.
